Greene Loft, New York:
We took a three room, small apartment and created one flexible, open space that could be converted into a bedroom when a custom cabinet pulled open to become a bed or a lounging area with window seating that lined the window wall. Lighting was challenging because the only way to have overhead lighting was to compromise the ceiling height. We decided to pull the plane of the walls out to accommodate hidden fixtures, which seemed to glow from behind the walls. We further mixed the lighting throughout the space choosing cool light for the foyer, warm light emitting in the main space both mixing with cool light in the window soffit.
