LaDuarte Art Gallery, Bogota, Colombia:

Our task was to transform a commercial storefront space into a contemporary art gallery. Besides having a tight deadline and a strict budget, the site was located in the dimly lit inner courtyard of a residential building. We decided to create a kind of “light box” effect with translucent film on the storefront glass and a series of light tubes installed around the perimeter, which were lit in a gradient of cold to warm light. We designed an exhibition area, project space, reception area, offices and art storage.
